Weligama’s beach break provides the perfect conditions for surfing, especially for beginner and beginner to intermediate surfers.

SURF LESSON (EVERY DAY)
WELIGAMA BEACH (25€ p. p.)
A session lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes including equipment, transport to the surf spot and back, warm-up and coaching in the water.
Additional Tuk Tuk fees might apply for intermediates when the surf spot is outside of Weligama.
SURF PACKAGE (STARTS EVERY DAY)
WELIGAMA BEACH (175€ p.p.)
Our surf & yoga package is designed for BEGINNER & BEGINNER TO INTERMEDIATE surfers. It includes 5 surf lessons and 5 yoga lessons.
In addition you will learn about surf theory and be able to practice your paddle and turning skills during a guided pool session.
Additional Tuk Tuk fees might apply for intermediates when the surf spot is outside of Weligama.
FAQ
I NEVER SURFED BEFORE. IS THAT A PROBLEM?
On the contrary, Weligama is the number 1 spot to start your surf career.
WHERE DO WE SURF?
We mostly stay at our home base: Weligama Beach. Depending on the conditions and your surf level, we sometimes choose other spots nearby like Fisherman’s, Lazy Left or Lazy Right.
HOW DO WE GET TO THE SURF SPOT?
We Tuk Tuk :) The transport is included in the lessons. Please note: Boat transfer for advanced spots are not included.
IS THE SURF EQUIPMENT INCLUDED IN THE LESSONS?
Yes - lycra, leash and surf board are included.
CAN I USE THE BOARDS ALSO BESIDES THE LESSONS?
For safety reasons our boards can only be used during our guided surf sessions. However, you can rent boards easily on the beach.
HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE IN A GROUP?
It will be a maximum of 4 people per instructor.
I BOOKED THE SURF & YOGA PACKAGE. DO I HAVE TO PARTICIPATE IN EVERY YOGA LESSON?
Our yoga lessons are - just like our surf lessons - not mandatory. It is not a big deal to skip a lesson in case you are tired or simply don’t feel like a yogi that day. However, please note that we are unable to give refunds for missed activities.
